The vast majority of people are at least mildly uncomfortable going to the dentist.
It’s likely you know someone with a chronic (potentially debilitating) fear of the dentist. There are dental sedation solutions to ease dental anxiety.
Wake Up Smiling...
You often aren’t aware of the procedure, and sometimes you’ll have no memory of it afterward.
Time Travel...
Being sedated or asleep during the appointment can make the procedure seem faster. You’ll wake up and the time will feel like it went by in an instant.
Needle-Free and Pain-Free…
If you’re afraid of needles, there’s no need to fear dental sedation! There are many options that are needle-free and pain-free.
Better for Your Overall Health...
You can finally get the care you need that you have been putting off — possibly for years! Normally this might have been terrifying, but with the help of dental sedation you can take care of your oral health without the stress.
Save Time...
You can have two-to-three times the amount of work done in one day, minimizing the need for multiple future appointments!
You Can Get IV Sedation for Tooth Extractions!
"Believe it or not – We think we've mastered making dental visits relaxing. You'll look forward to your appointment!"

Owner & Dentist
I made the decision at a very young age that I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps and work in dentistry. I can even recall back to the age of 7, walking around my father’s practice, constructing and playing around with all the dental models. This love for dentistry stuck with me all throughout my teenage years and into college. Prior to attending dental school, I earned my bachelor’s degree of science in biology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Not long after graduation, I decided to follow in my father’s footsteps and attend the same graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. There, I gained extensive knowledge in multiple fields of dentistry, including cosmetic, restorative, and surgical. In 2000, I completed UPenn’s dental medicine program and received my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
After graduation, I joined my father’s successful practice and was mentored by him there. This mentoring in highly specialized care allowed me to learn how to perform complex procedures like full-mouth rehabilitations. In 2008, I embarked on a special educational journey by taking an extensive course in dental implantology.
At Alpha Dental Excellence, our team is dedicated to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction. We achieve this by staying at the forefront of dental advancements, a principle my late father passionately upheld and one that I continue to honor.
If you experience significant anxiety or fear when visiting the dentist, sedation dentistry may be the solution for you. Our office is judgment-free, and our highly trained team will carefully monitor you throughout your visit to ensure a safe and calming experience.
Mild Sedation
(Nitrous Oxide)
It’s informally called “laughing gas” because it has a euphoric effect (making some people get the giggles).
Moderate Sedation
(Oral Sedative)
You’ll be able to take an oral sedative prior to your procedure (you’ll need a ride home of course).
Moderate Sedation
(Conscious IV Sedation)
Patients often don’t even remember their appointment or seeing/feeling anything that would trigger their anxiety.
Deep Sedation
(IV Sedation)*
You’ll be completely “knocked out,” we will monitor your safety and perform your treatment while you are unconscious.
*Note: IV Sedation is administered by a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist.
